Affordable, but not ‘cheap’

Some things just aren’t ‘cheap’. And sailing is one of them. But, I sail because I enjoy it and I would like to share that experience with others because that’s something money just can’t buy.

First, sailing isn’t ‘cheap’ probably because the Chinese didn’t make a good sailing boat yet. Second, because of time and effort required to organize it.

You have to:

  • find a boat
  • pay for the down payment
  • pay for maintenance and cleaning
  • find a reliable skipper
  • pay for food and drink
  • pay for mooring in marinas
  • pay for fuel
  • pay for tourist tax
  • pay for parking for cars…

But, despite this, I saw that it could be more affordable if organized well.

Sailing for all is stripped of all the ‘luxury’. But it’s for the ones who really want to get some rest and to enjoy the natural beauties of Croatian islands.

Safety comes first, so in case of need we will moor in the safest marina around, no matter the cost.

Accordingly, a week of Sailing for all includes all of the above mentioned – boat, parking, food and drinks (except alcohol), mooring, fuel …

We will sail in the area between Zadar and Šibenik, trough national park Kornati and nature park Telašćica, and we will sail from bases on the island of Murter – 0:45 h by car from Zadar airport, and 1:30 h by car from Split airport.

If this sounds interesting to you, contact me and let’s go sailing!
